green industry

Naturopera is proud to be a member of the Green Rooster Community, a network of business leaders convinced of the need for action and already committed to the ecological and energy transition. Launched by Bpifrance, in partnership with ADEME and the Ministry for Ecological Transition, this Community aims to foster the sharing of expertise among committed entrepreneurs. Geoffroy Blondel de Joigny and Kilian O’Neill are personally involved in this community as Green Rooster Community Pioneers. Pioneers are exemplary members of the Green Rooster Community who have already begun their transition. They actively participate in spreading the Community’s values within their respective networks.

The Bully-les-Mines factory,
an example of environmentally friendly production

Classified as BREEAM GOOD level to have a high level of environmental performance in all its components.

The factory benefits from a high-inertia concrete facade for perfect thermal insulation and presence detectors for low-energy lighting.

A landscaped environment that is part of the Territoires 62 development program.

Finally, electric charging stations are installed to promote sustainable mobility and biodiversity is encouraged by the presence of beehives on the site.

Zero harmful emissions and 0% waste

The manufacturing line benefits from a dust collection and extraction system. This air is then filtered to 99.99% (absolute filter level), guaranteeing employees a safe working environment and ensuring that the air is released without any risk to the environment.
On the production side, 100% of waste is collected using recycling bins placed along the entire diaper line, then carefully sorted and recycled.

An ecological revolution in energy management

To optimize energy consumption while ensuring the conditions required for optimal product quality, the Naturopera factory is the first in Europe to unveil a unique system: the air inside the machine, heated by 230 motors, is recovered to heat the building in winter. In summer, the air is tempered using an adiabatic system. This physical principle, without chemicals or excessive energy consumption, involves spraying water to naturally cool the air and regulate humidity in a more environmentally friendly way. Electricity consumption is thus reduced tenfold compared to a conventional factory.
